FB-Red Ball is a round beetroot with smooth, deep red roots of 150-250 g. Its selling point is the flesh: uniformly blood red with no white rings, and very juicy - which is exactly what the salad and juice trade grades on. Maturity is quick at 61-65 days, so it fits neatly into a Rabi rotation.
