FB-Kirti is a direct-sown cowpea with heavy branching - 15 to 20 branches per plant - which is what carries its picking load. Pods are green and slender with milky white seed, and the variety resists Yellow Mosaic Virus, leaf spot and powdery mildew, the three problems that most often cut a cowpea crop short.
