FB-Californian Butternut F1 is a moderately vigorous vine-type butternut pumpkin hybrid. Fruit are slim and pyriform with smooth tan-yellow skin and orange flesh, the seed cavity confined to the blossom end. Whole fruit store for six to nine months at ambient temperature, which makes the hybrid suitable for staggered marketing and long-distance shipment.
